Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026. This is starter wording for a UK online retailer — please have it reviewed by your solicitor before going live.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and every order placed with Alvi Ecom Enterprise (“we”, “us”, “our”), a business registered in England and Wales and trading as an online retailer of home and kitchen products. Our company registration number, VAT number and registered office are published on our Business Details page. By browsing the site or placing an order you accept these terms. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. Products and pricing
All products are listed with a description, product images and the price payable in pounds sterling (GBP), including VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery charges are shown separately before you confirm payment. Product images are for illustration and slight variation in colour or finish may occur. Prices and availability can change without notice, and where an obvious pricing error is identified we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling.
3. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, the delivery address falls outside our service area, payment cannot be authorised, or the order appears fraudulent. Any amount already taken for a declined order is refunded in full.
4. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include Visa, Mastercard and American Express debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer for trade accounts. Payments are processed by FCA-authorised, PCI DSS compliant payment service providers over an encrypted connection. We never store complete card details on our own servers. Payment is taken at the point of order unless the product page states otherwise.
5. Delivery
Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail or our courier partners. Estimated delivery is 2–3 working days to UK mainland addresses and 3–5 working days to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, counted from dispatch. Timescales are estimates; where delivery is delayed beyond 30 days you may cancel and receive a full refund. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If nobody is available, the courier will leave a card or attempt a safe place or neighbour delivery.
6. Your right to cancel (14 days)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Tell us by email, phone or through the contact page, then return the goods within 14 days of telling us. We refund the price and the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of proof that you have sent them. You are responsible for the cost of return unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, and for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to check the item.
7. Our 30-day returns policy
In addition to your statutory rights we accept returns of unused items in their original packaging for 30 days from delivery, with proof of purchase. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Personal-care items, clearance products, made-to-order goods and items damaged through misuse are excluded from this goodwill policy; your legal rights are unaffected.
8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty you have a 30-day right to reject it for a full refund; after 30 days you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and to a refund if that is unsuccessful. Report damage or an incorrect item within 48 hours of delivery with photographs where possible — we arrange collection and a replacement or refund at our cost.
9. Cancellations by us and by you before dispatch
An order can be cancelled free of charge any time before dispatch by contacting our support team. Once an order has been handed to the carrier it is handled under sections 6 to 8 above.
10. Warranty
Small appliances carry the manufacturer or importer warranty stated on the product page, which is in addition to your statutory rights. Warranty claims require the original invoice and are subject to the manufacturer assessment. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage and unauthorised repair are excluded.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, no scraping for commercial purposes, no uploading of unlawful or infringing material, and no activity that disrupts the service for other users.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, product photography, graphics, logos and layout — belongs to Alvi Ecom Enterprise or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
13. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Subject to that, our liability for any claim connected with a product or order is limited to the amount paid for that order, and we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.
14. Complaints
If something goes wrong, contact our support team with your order number. We acknowledge complaints within one working day and aim to resolve them within five. If you are not satisfied with our final response you may refer the matter to a certified alternative dispute resolution provider, or use the relevant consumer advice service.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home nation.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to our support team through the contact page, by email or by phone during business hours.
